A Smoky Quartz cabochon from China with an attractive inclusion scene.

Held within the transparent Quartz are an intersecting series of reddish-brown Rutile rods, one of which is capped with a flower-like yellow-brown Calcite crystal (magnified images 7 and 8).

These features are clear to see by eye and are spectacular under magnification.
