A Quartz cabochon from Minas Gerais, Brazil with Clinochlorite  and Ripidolite inclusions.

Visible to the naked eye are a number of amphibole mineral inclusions in this transparent cabochon.
Clusters of forest green chromium-bearing Clinoclorite platelets with ridged surfaces along with curling, vermicular Ripidolite masses.
Ripidolite is an iron-bearing variety of the mineral Clinochlorite, but has a very different form, as can be seen in this unusual cabochon.
