A colourless Quartz cabochon from Brazil with a rare and attractive inclusion scene.

Floating within the transparent host lie a rhombic crystal of pale blue Calcite.
The crystal has a roughly cubic appearance and is transparent, which is apparent due to a black, rod-like crystal of Schorl Tourmaline which penetrates and passes through the Calcite.
On close examination can be seen partly lodged within the icy-blue Calcite, as shown in magnified images 5 to 9.
