An Oligoclase Sunstone gem from Plush, Oregon, USA.

The stone has a beautiful pinkish-red body colour and has a lively appearance due to a multifaceted cut.

Visible as the gemstone is tilted under a light are delicate streaks of of tiny copper platelets, a characteristic inclusion of Sunstone from this famous location.
The metallic inclusions cause a rather attractive pink schiller effect as the gem is tilted and rotated.
