A faceted Sunstone gem from Plush, Oregon, USA.

The well-cut, bright and lively gem has a pale yellow-peach body colour, and displays a shimmering pink schiller as the stone is rotated under the light.

Images 5 to 7 are magnified views of the tiny copper platelet inclusions in the gem which catch the light and are the cause of the glistening schiller.
