A glittering Confetti Sunstone gem from Tanzania.

Confetti Sunstone, a variety of Oligoclase Feldspar, is characterised by metallic, reflective Hematite platelet inclusions which give rise to the shimmering, iridescent effect known as aventurescence.

The colours in this gem are superb, with brilliant flashes of pink, red, turquoise, blue and green being distributed through the stone in a pinprick iridescent pattern.
