A faceted Confetti Sunstone from Tanzania with the characteristic Hematite platelet inclusions which give rise to the shimmering, iridescent effect known as aventurescence.

The colours in this gem are superb, with electric flashes of turquoise, green, orange and pink being distributed through the stone.

Images 4 to 6 are magnified views of the inclusion scene, which is dominated by a single large Hematite platelet centred under the table facet which displays a strong adularescent flash. .
