A deep green Moldavite from Southern Bohemia in the Czech Republic.

Moldavite is a tektite, a natural glass formed as a result of a meteor impact. It's violent genesis is apparent when its internal features are viewed under magnification, with gas bubbles suspended in the turbulent, roiled, flowing structure of the material (see magnified images 4 and 5).
