Product Description
A slab of Pudding Stone from Hertfordshire in the UK, a conglomerate of iron-rich Flint pebbles naturally compressed and cemented into a silcrete matrix by the weight of ice during the Ice Age.
The Flint was originally tumbled by the action of water when they lay on a prehistoric beach before being cemented together, which accounts for their rounded shape.
This fascinating specimen has been polished on both sides and is mounted in a display case with a printed description.
