A yellow-brown Epidote gemstone from Baja, California, USA.

Epidote is a calcium aluminium iron sorosilicate mineral with pronounced pleochroism, faceted stones being uncommon due to the naturally dark colour usually exhibited in such stones.

This example, while a little dark, is well cut with a deep pavillion and displays internal flashes of pleochroic colours associated with the species.
