Enhydro Smoky Quartz cabochon, moving bubble, Madagascar. 22.70 carats. (Video)

A spectacular Enhydro Smoky Quartz cabochon from Madagascar.

The transparent Quartz has a large cavity aligned with a pyramidal growth phase of the original crystal.
The void is filled with a clear liquid, most likely water from the hydrothermal growth environment.

The liquid holds an air bubble which has enough space to move around its enclosure as the gem is tilted.
Along with the bubble are a series of black carbonaceous flakes which can be seen tumbling through the cavity as you rotate the stone.
