A cabochon constructed from different materials and intended to resemble natural Dendritic Quartz.

The domed top of the stone is composed of colourless Quartz and sits on a softer resin base.
The join line between the components is clear to see around the edge of the gem, as demonstrated in image 4.
A series of dendritic forms of unknown material is held in the layer between the two parts of the stone and has been dyed a dark green colour (magnified images 5 and 6).
