A Burmite Amber cabochon from Myanmar with a wealth of insect and other organic inclusions.

Suspended within the transparent host is a relatively large tick with a translucent body.
The remains of its last meal can be seen at the base of its abdomen!
Along with this are a small dark wasp, a tiny fly, an unusual botanical sprig and other remnants of the ancient forest in which this Amber was formed.
