A polished Amber specimen from the La Bucara mine, Dominican Republic.

The Amber appears largely featureless to the naked eye, but contains an uncommon insect inclusion which is visible under magnification.
Image 6 is a magnified view of the insect, a tiny Scavenger Fly, perfectly preserved in the prehistoric time capsule of Amber.
