Product Description

A part-polished Amber specimen from the Baltic region.

The specimen has a convex/concave shape, the natural shape of the amber as it flowed from the tree in which the resin formed.

Visible within the transparent Amber is a tiny insect, a short millipede, perfectly preserved after millions of years.

Images 5 to 7 are magnified views of the tiny life-form which displays a segmented body and fine bristles.
