Product Description

A highly transparent Amber specimen from the La Bucara mine, Dominican Republic.

Visible within the Amber are a male Ant,  some unusual organic fibres, a tiny mite and a host of bubbles, as shown in magnified images 7 to 9.

The Amber displays a strong greenish-blue fluorescence when exposed to UV illumination (image 10).
