Product Description

An orange-yellow Amber speciment from the Baltic region with several prominent internal features.

The clearest of these is a partially opened flower bract (possibly oak) as shown in magnified image 4.
Also visible under magnification is a Beetle which is almost entirely covered in a film of white emulsion.
This coating is a common feature of insect inclusions in Baltic Amber and is known as 'Vermlumung'.
A tiny Mite is also partially obscured by the coating (images 5 and 6).
A tiny but rare sprig of  Bryophite (a variety of moss) can also be seen under close examination (image 7)
Other features include tiny (unidentified) insects, flow tubes and gas bubbles in this enticing specimen.
