A polished Amber specimen from the La Bucara mine, Dominican Republic with a wealth of insect inclusions.

Visible by eye, but best viewed under magnification, the transparent Amber hosts a Planthopper insect, along with several tiny flies and wasps, one of which has its ovipositor extended, a large partial wing and more.

All n all, I counted 12 insects in this enticing specimen, but may have missed one or two!
