A highly transparent Amber cabochon from the La Toca mine, Dominican Republic with a greenish-yellow colour.

A series of organic inclusions are clear to see in this fine gem, the most prominent being a broken twiglet from the Hymenaea tree from which the Amber formed.
Along with this is a hairy flower anther with an Ant clinging to it, two Fungus Gnats and a wealth of other remnants from the ancient forest.
